The Northumberland Coast Small Grant Scheme

The Northumberland Coast AONB Partnership runs a small grant scheme to help a variety of organisations get involved in caring for the AONB and improving it for its communities and visitors.

For example, you could apply to:

• Create and care for a local wildlife area
• Develop or improve a community facility
• Carry out conservation work on an historic monument or building
• Improve accessibility of a visitor attraction or section of footpath
• Hold an arts or local produce fair
• Organise a community festival or event
• Develop recreation facilities
• Provide local skills training
• Support a volunteers scheme
• Develop information on natural or cultural heritage
• Improve sustainability of visitor or community facilities
• Pay towards a new member of staff
• Poetry inspired by the coast (Strata Gems / Blue Lonnen)
