The spectacular coastline of Berwickshire and North Northumberland is well known for its dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife and much of it is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  What is less known is that this magnificent scenery continues offshore and is home to a dazzling array of colourful marine life.

The Northumberland coast offers all year round bird-watching opportunities.  Whether visiting the spectacular breeding seabird colonies of the Farne Islands, the atmospheric over-wintering flocks of wildfowl at Lindisfarne or searching for songbirds at many of the migration hot spots during the spring and autumn, there is always something 'ornithological' going on.
