The Northumberland Coast Small Grant Scheme

The Northumberland Coast AONB Partnership runs a small grant scheme to help a variety of organisations get involved in caring for the AONB and improving it for its communities and visitors.

What is the scheme for?

The Northumberland Coast Small Grant Scheme wants to help communities, voluntary groups, businesses and others with projects in and around the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The scheme runs until September 2008. The grant is available to support projects that improve the area for the benefit of the landscape, environment, cultural heritage, communities or visitors in ways that are in keeping with the primary purpose of AONB designation: to conserve and enhance natural beauty. The scheme also aims to support wide involvement in delivering the actions within the Northumberland Coast AONB Management Plan.
