Vision Statement

This vision statement looks ahead roughly 20 years to describe the type of place we would like the AONB to be at that time.  The AONB Management Plan exists to help the ideas expressed in the vision become reality. The statement consist of an overall vision for the AONB followed by more detailed vision statements on different themes.

Overall vision for the Northumberland Coast AONB

The Northumberland Coast AONB is a living, working area with diverse and distinctive landscapes, wildlife, settlements, building styles and material, community history and culture. Individuals, communities and organisations of all sizes work together to conserve and enhance the high quality of landscape and life.
