Northumberland Tourism have partnered with the National Coastal Tourism Academy (NCTA) to undertake a regular business survey of coastal businesses. The findings will be used by them to better understand how businesses along the Northumberland coast are faring.
This is especially important if the boom in domestic visits experienced in summer 2020 is repeated this year. The data will be used in local industry recovery planning and the NCTA will use the collective national data to understand and support lobbying Government.
Northumberland Tourism are inviting a regular cohort of accommodation businesses within five miles of the coast, or any other business within 15 miles of the coast, which contributes to the coastal visitor economy, to take part.
